The Doherty's Irish Pub Promise

Welcome back, we’ve missed you!

Dohertys' health and safety standards have always been a top priority in our daily operations.

Right now we are being tasked with the opportunity to work harder than ever to demonstrate this value.

Our restaurant will continue to be a leader in safe sanitation practices by continuing to follow the

guidelines set forth by the CDC, FDA, NCDHHS. We are also a participating business with

CountOnMeNC.org, a mutual public health initiative that empowers guests and businesses to help keep everyone safe and protected during NC’s reopening after the COVID-19 Stay-At-Home Order.

Our Promise

  • We will continue to provide a safe dining environment with proper cleaning, disinfecting & sanitizing procedures set forth by the CDC, FDA, and NCDHHS.

  • Our staff will continue to be health screened prior to each shift with the understanding that those experiencing any symptoms will be sent home.

  • The pub will operate at no more than 50% of maximum occupancy and seating will be arranged to meet social distancing requirements.

  • Contactless dine-in menus will be offered unless single use paper menus are requested.  Contactless payment options are available.

  • Single-use condiments and utensils are available upon request.

Our on-premise dining will also be available through first come, first served with an online option for waitlist and is limited to parties of up to 10.

The pub area will offer limited seating with at least 6’ in between groups of no more than 4.

All staff will wear masks.  Hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the restaurant and are available to all guests and staff, including at the door before entering. Touchless soap & paper dispensers and foot pulls are installed throughout the restaurant as a safer alternative.

As our guest, you promise to:

  • Be patient and kind to staff and other guests as we all adjust to a new normal.

  • Follow the social distancing and sanitary guidelines that have been put in place to protect you, our other guests and our staff.

  • Refrain from entering the pub if you have had close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or exhibits any signs of COVID-19, including but not limited to fever, cough and shortness of breath. Instead, use contactless delivery or curbside takeout options. Not sure? Check out NCDHHS's Guide

Wait for your table or pickup order in your vehicle until you are notified that it's ready via text and use designated curbside parking spots for pickup orders.

Wear a cloth face-covering like a mask or scarf when not seated at your table, actively drinking or eating, as mandated by the state.

Wash your hands using our sanitizing station as you enter to join us for dining.
